Do the national law and PBA provisions apply to interns who commenced their internships prior to 18th October 2010?
Yes. Interns transitioning to the NRAS are required to meet the national standards for registration irrespective of when training commenced.
It may be pleasing for interns to note that only 1824 hours of supervised training is required to establish eligibility for general registration. Interns should discuss this change with preceptors to ensure each party is aware of completion date.
